When you send out an intercom request, the destination device is in use, out of range, not powered, or does not answer within 100 seconds.

No battery is installed. Follow the directions for battery installation (See Install and charge the battery) to install the battery before charging.

There is no telephone line connected.

There are no messages in the answering system.

Another handset is already accessing the phonebook, caller ID log or answering system.

Not enough batt to power base

The cordless handset you put in the base does not have enough charge to back up the telephone base power.

Number already saved

The telephone number you enter is already stored in the phonebook.

Out of range OR no pwr at base

The handset cannot communicate with the telephone base. Check the telephone base power connection or move the handset closer to the telephone base.

The handset is on a call.

Phonebook empty

There are no phonebook entries.

Phonebook full

The phonebook is full. You cannot save any new entries unless you delete some current entries.

PRIVATE NAME

The caller is blocking the name information.

PRIVATE NUMBER

The caller is blocking the telephone number information.

PRIVATE CALLER

The caller is blocking the name and the telephone number information.

Place in charger

The battery is very low. Place the handset in the charger for recharging.

Powering base...Don’t pick up

A charged handset is put in the telephone base to back up the telephone base power for some basic phone operations during a power failure.

Put HS on base to power base

The telephone base has lost power. Put the handset in the telephone base to back up the power.

Rec mem full

The answering system has no recording time left.

Rec mem low

The answering system has less than three minutes of recording time left.

Registered

The handset is registered to the telephone base.

Registration failed

The registration is not successful.

The handset or pendant registration is in progress.

Ringer muted

The handset ringer is muted temporarily during an incoming call.

Ringer off

The ringer is off temporarily during an incoming call.

An entry has been added to the allow list.

An entry has been added to the star name list.

Saved to phonebook

An entry has been added to the phonebook.

Screened call

The Smart call blocker feature of the telephone has screened a call, and is putting the call through and waiting for you to pick up the call.
